Client Situation

A leading, Private Equity-backed facilities management services company needed help to integrate an acquisition, and to strengthen overall integration capabilities.  The company defined a growth strategy that included strong revenue growth goals, and service line and geographic expansion and future add-on acquisitions.

How We Helped

Collaborated with management to draft an integration approach, objectives and targets

Established the Integration Management Office and mobilized teams to conduct detailed planning

Helped to develop an integrated Go-to-Market approach for the combined company to help position it with current and target customers

Facilitated organizational design to combine the businesses, including the sales organization and the field force which was critical to cross-selling and service delivery

Put in place integration tracking and reporting approach, including cross-selling synergy tracking

On the back end of the project, drafted a series of integration playbooks and a toolkit that the client could use going forward

Result

Client successfully integrated the acquisition, achieving synergy targets and landing several early customer wins with a broader offering

Client later acquired several add-ons using their new approach and playbooks
